SHIP is not a festival where you come to hear the bands you already love, it is a place where you come to fall in love with the bands you will listen to and see for the first time. It is a music festival dedicated to discovering new European and Croatian music. SHIP is organized by We Move Music Croatia (HUZIP, HGU, HUIG, HUOKU) in collaboration with the Fortress of Culture Šibenik, and the conference is supported by the Ministry of Culture and Media of the Republic of Croatia and the Croatian Tourist Board.
2023 will be the year of the first edition of SHIP. It will last for four days in Šibenik, Croatia across several venues. During the day, a music conference will take place with panels and networking programs in order to facilitate idea exchange and serve as a hub and incubator that connects Croatian and European music professionals. During the night, the city will become a stage for numerous genre-neutral performances ranging from classical music to the latest developments in electronic music and everything in between.
SHIP is a three day celebration of music in Šibenik, Croatia. Performances are taking place on a breathtaking St. Michael’s Fortress with Adriatic sea as the scenery, multipurpose venue House of Art Arsen, Šibenik’s soul Azimut club, and Tunel an underground network of tunnels transformed in an electronic music venue. With venues being scattered across Šibenik, the city becomes the festival.
